Yoga Instructor

Namaste riverPaper Bag ChakrasThrough yoga, our bodies align with divine expression.  As a creator, it is my dream to assist in acknowledging our personal power of creation – to move, sweat, breath, and dance awareness through yoga.  As a yoga instructor, I remind students of the miracles of our bodies and how to better communicate with our physical and spiritual selves.  I enjoy the union of body and poetry, through all aspects of yoga.

I have travelled heaps and from my years in Australia and New Zealand I’ve picked up various styles and disciplines of yoga.  I studied with the Inbound School of Yoga in Pisac, Peru, and trekked to Machu Picchu.  The combination of cultures – Hindu, Peruvian Quechua and the influences from the nine countries represented in our teacher training group – has given me a foundation of stellar strength.  Like each of my travels, I have taken the parts of my learning that resonate with me and continue to evolve my practice with new experiences and insights.

The Yoga Inbound style is a culmination of Ashtanga Vinyasa (mixed levels), Iyengar, and Anusara.  In laymen terms, the focus is on breath, creating heat and maintaining alignment, and opening the heart.  I practice yoga as a holistic process; the benefits and lessons extend beyond the mat and into our everyday lives.

I am brimming with joy and yoga is another outlet to practice gratitude.  My optimism is infectious; each day is an adventure of growth and change.  I am RYT-200 certified, please get in touch if your interested in my teaching services.   I can’t wait to create with you!

As your 65 year old Yoga Novice, I wish I had the verbal skills to let you know how amazing your Inbound Yoga class has been for me.  You are such an awesome teacher with your constant posture reminders, explanations, encouragement, recognizing student strengths and weaknesses, taking care of each of our needs and at the same time challenging us to keep improving.  My strength is getting so much better (and the body toning is such a great side gift!!), balance is improving and the over all physical and spiritual improvements I look at with such gratitude.  I’m so thankful I saw this on the class schedule and decided to see what it was all about.  Anyone looking to do something to improve their life would be doing themselves a favor to contact you for instruction.  I thank you for all you do and look forward to each and every class…even though I know it’s going to be a workout!!!  Ha!!
